The Influence of Effective Nurse Communication Application on Patient Satisfaction: A Literature Review

Communication is an important element for building trust and comfort in nursing, it the foundation of nurse-patient relationship. The purpose this study to find out how effective communication influences nurses' perceptions patient satisfaction. A recent literature review was conducted using Pubmed, Wiley Online, Science Direct electronic databases. method uses terms expressions keywords "effective communication," "nurse," "patient satisfaction." Based on screening results inclusion exclusion criteria, a search turned up 10 studies. Effective provided by nurses greatly affects satisfaction; better carried out, greater satisfaction will be. With satisfaction, nurse can improve service creating good cooperative relationships fostering so as recovery. Not only with patients, but must also be colleagues other professions applying several methods such ISBAR, PCC, MCA methods. Therefore, health services, especially nurses, should pay more attention patients implement nursing care activities.
